Clean bill of health

We saw the doctor today to follow up on the allergy and she suggested in the next couple of months that I eat a little dairy and then see how the baby reacts. She kept using pizza as her example, 'if you eat some pizza on Thursday and he seems cranky on Saturday then you should back off the dairy again...'. My mouth was watering and every time she said pizza. Ahhhh, how I miss the pizza. Then she suggested we start small, like with a yogurt. Bah.

Alarm

You know what wakes me up pretty fast these days? Glancing over at the clock and seeing it's 6:00AM! Then realizing I haven't heard a peep ALLLLLLL night. I'm pretty glad I went to bed at 9:30 last night. Sah-Weet! At 6:01 I jumped out of bed to make sure the little guy was breathing. I tip toed into his room, crept up to the edge of the crib, peeked inside and there he was, WIDE awake and playing with the bumper pad. Silently. He saw me and grinned ear to ear. Man, do I love that kid.

And that is why we cannot leave him in the bumbo alone. Ever.
